Cara Delevingne appeared nude in Stella McCartney’s latest campaign, carrying an XXL Falabella bag. This campaign marks the 15th anniversary of the original vegan fashion “It” bag.
The Falabella Bag by Stella McCartney
The Falabella, named after the designer’s favorite pony species from her childhood in the British countryside, has been a staple in street-style photography. Moreover, since its introduction in fall 2009, it has captured the hearts of major pop stars. Icon stars like Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Kate Hudson have all shown their love for the bag.
Although people love the original version of Falabella, the style has been reinterpreted season after season. The Falabella bag showcases eco-friendly materials such as the plant-based animal leather alternative Mirum, Vegea, a grape by-product from Italian wineries, and Yatay, a textile made from agricultural waste and recycled fibers.
Furthermore, all the iconic bags feature a monogrammed lining made of ocean plastics. Not only that, they are hand-laced with organic cotton rope. Even the glue is vegan, said the brand.
The Falabella bag has been featured in campaigns starring Natalia Vodianova and Amber Valletta. Moreover, special editions of the bag have been reimagined by artists Urs Fischer, Gary Hume, Hajime Sorayama, and Disney.
15 Years of Falabella

Four limited-edition styles will feature fringes, lead-free crystals, silver studs, and crackled silver metallic. The limited-edition bags will be available worldwide online and in-store starting Thursday.
